I never knew Liam Thomas but now that his family have introduced us I am touched by him as I'm sure you all will be...tissues may be required...

Liam's parents sent me an email that's where I'll start.....

hi,I have just read your story and found it very moving.on the 29 October 2007 we lost our 15 year old son.we donated his organs and reading your story has helped us a little bit to see that even though we have lost our son many people like yourselves have been spared the devastation that we are going through.christmas for us has been put on hold . look after your son,god bless you Mr Thomas

hi thank you for reply, both my wife and I are really happy that your son is doing so well.i hope that Liam organs have brought happiness to a lot of other family's as we would not like any other family to go through what we are going through.the only comfort we have is knowing some other lives have been saved.thank you for your reply,Mr Mrs Thomas.

hi,thank you for your email.both me and my wife would be honoured for you to plant a tree for liam.Liam and I would regularly visit the woods that are only 2 min's down the road from where we live.we would go for walks,me and him chatting like 2 old men.we would also go fishing together.one time he caught a 3 lbs trigger fish that got him in the local news paper.he never let me forget that.he was also a keen motor bike rider, and would often be seen riding around in the woods aswell.liam was one of the most popular boys on our estate.his friends have been really kind to our family and call up to see his mum for a chat.at Liam funeral all his mates lined the route up to the crem. 200-300 people attended and the whole school lined up out side as we passed by.

Thank you SO much Mr & Mrs Thomas for sharing your son's life....in more ways than one (((((massive big hugs)))))
