Query - Codie McCartney

Many of you will have known Codie McCartney who sadly passed away last summer.
Does anyone know when her birthday would have been? I know it was sometime at the beginning of March, but Im not sure of the date. I was just wondering as I would like to contact Debbie nearer the time and just let her know that the family are in our thoughts.

I think you're right Moll, it was around the beginning of March, as she'd just recently turned 2 when Maddy went in for her transplant on March 16th. I'm sorry I can't help you with the date.
Debbie and I email and text from time to time, I'm sure she wont mind me telling you that she'd had a hard Christmas without Codie, but that she was enjoying her job, and Colin his, and that Jay and siobhan were doing well. Of course she didn't mention Codie's birthday, but she said how she went up to the gravestone twice a week.
She's a real star, I really admire her strength.

My mum used to write to Debbie regularly, but they haven't been in touch recently. Im not sure why, I know my mum's just been very busy with various things. I should think its probably the same with Debbie.
I might email or write to Debbie myself, just to keep some contact going.
I really admire her too; she's been through such a lot.

I think Lorraine(Will's Mum) is in touch with them too...it was Will's birthday a week past Sunday,Lorraine sent out a wee text message for us to remember Will...I must email her we haven't been in touch for a while...I've just been SO busy with this fundraising for CLDF...no excuse really!
